Ministries

Like any church, there is a lot of work to be done. You may think that you have nothing to offer, but if you look at the people God chooses to use in the Bible, you see that they are just ordinary, everyday people that listened to God’s call. If you are interested in getting involved check out one of our teams.

Worship Team

If you play an instrument or can carry a tune, the worship team is for you. In addition to the more musical tasks, the worship team is responsible for audio-visual, greeting, service planning and set-up, and communion

Outreach Team

If you are here because of a flyer you received, our booth at one of the local festivals, you were served with an act of kindness, or someone invited you, you have seen the outreach team in action. These people focus on reaching out to those in the community to share the gospel. The team performs various outreaches from raking leaves to passing out light bulbs and from free car washes in the summer to handing out free donuts and hot cocoa to last minute shoppers on Christmas Eve day. If you like to plan events and have a desire to show God’s love to our community, check out this team.

Discipleship Team

The discipleship team is responsible for educating the church about the things of God. They plan Bible Fellowship classes, small group studies, and children’s church. If you enjoy teaching and have a heart to educate people, you may find a place on the discipleship team.

Hospitality Team

The hospitality team is responsible for planning fellowship events, prayer for others, and delivering meals to the sick. If you are a compassionate person that enjoys showing mercy to others, the hospitality team could use you.

Facilities Team

Are you handy with tools? Do you like to fix plumbing problems for relaxation? Have a knack for decorating? Maybe you are handy with a paint brush, or like to cut grass. Do you enjoy cleaning? Whatever the case, the facilities team needs handy men AND women to do various projects.
