Mark Mirza will return for a prayer conference on Friday (7-9pm) and Saturday (9-11am), February 17-18, 2012.

Mark will help our church, both corporately and personally, with our prayer ministry.  Last time he was here he demonstrated and spoke to "Praying Scripture Back to God" and so this visit we will participate in this process as we focus on verses that cause us to look at numerous aspects of prayer, including a solemn assembly on Friday night.

More on our speaker:
Mark Mirza was in the corporate world until July 2008, when he joined Dr. Charles Stanley at First Baptist Church of Atlanta. There he led the men's prayer ministry (Sons of Thunder) for 4 1/2 years.  In November of 2010, Mark began serving Common Threads Ministries full time.  Prior to that CTM was a part time endeavor.
Mark is married and he and his wife, Naida, live in Atlanta, GA.  Besides being an avid collector of old Christian books (usually on prayer, of course), he and his wife have a horse, Sterling, boarded in North Georgia.  They spend much of their spare time there.  You can follow Mark, CTM, and Sterling on Facebook.
